The overall theme for BerlinInOctober 2009:

        F I T in 2009!

F I T stands for Finance, Ideas and Technology, all things that we need to run successful democracy and transparency websites. Over the two days of Berlin in October our guests will have the chance to ask questions and solve problems relating to all of these headings, in the company of some of the world's most experienced website builders.

The event is part conference, part unconference. This means there are sessions containing pre-arranged talks and topics, and others which are up for our guests to determine, in line with their own interests.
